Toyota recalls again

And an additional Toyota recall

Recalls are going on all the time in the automotive department this year. The defective accelerator pedal in Toyota cars was probably one of the most high profile recall that happened. An additional Toyota recall shows that at least the automaker is consistent. Less cars are being recalled now. That means less individuals can be affected by it. Toyota only had to recall a few model years that are only on two different cars offered. However, as Toyota is trying to recuperate from the earlier recall and fallout, this will be a setback.

One more Toyota recall has hit

Recalls come from Toyota. They happen often. Toyota recalls are fairly regular right about now. There has also been a new recall just announced to the public. The problem being tackled by this Toyota recall is with the engines in more than 1.3 million cars. The engine control module needs fixing. The defect can affect shifting or cause the engine to stall while driving and keep the motor from starting, according to CNN. There have been accidents from the problem. Of course, the accidents are few.

Recall 1 million cars to fix

The recall affects two models. These are the Toyota Corolla and the Toyota Matrix. There are only a few specific years too. These are from 2005 to 2008. The circuit board can crack in the Engine Control Module which is in the 1ZZ-FE engineThe 1ZZ-FE has engine has a serious problem. The circuit board can crack in the Engine Control Module, which is not good. The engine might shut off when driving or affect the shifting. Engines may also be unable to start. The U.S. has 1.13 automobiles being affected by this. In Canada, the automobiles affected total only 200,000. As outlined by the Los Angeles Times, the total is being brought up from this for cars recalled this year for Toyota. The total has now hit about 10 million. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration is investigating these models.

Toyota does poorly

Toyota has had market share in U.S. auto sales. This has been for the last few years. This may be just what Toyota needed to break that trend. Numerous companies would like to take back their business. These consist of Ford, General Motors and Chrysler.
